It went downhill fast and stayed down there for the entire week upon our arrival. It started out very nice at the reservation stage when Lia allowed us to change our dates due to the fires/smoke in the area in July. 2) THE CAMP HOSTS, RICK AND LIA – Our experience with Rick and Lia was different from other contributors. If the electrical system voltage is consistently below 104 volts it can cause damage to your RV electrical system and electronic gear - your unit will still function but it will run hot so you are taking a risk. Unfortunately, this was on the coldest rainiest day when power was needed the most. This appears to be an intermittent issue and usually voltage would return to normal operations quickly except for 1 day when we simply gave up and unplugged after running the diagnostics for over an hour with low voltage returns. We had two main issues with our stay which others have detailed on other review sites but, surprisingly, these issues have not been detailed on Trip Advisor which is the reason for my contribution here: 1) LOW VOLTAGE DROPS WITH POWER SUPPLY – Our surge protector would shut down our power 3-4 times/day and return a low voltage error. When it rains, our site was mud city even through our camp mat – a layer of gravel might help but it’s camping so mud and bugs are expected. Lucky for us, we had 2 sets of lovely neighbours to talk to. Our lakefront view site with a shared dock was nice but sites are very small and close together. We had some wonderful days out on the kayak.

The grounds in general are nice, the lake and docks are beautiful. We spent a week here in site 17 in September 2021.
